About Me
Hi, I’m Dr. Amy J. Tung, ND!

I am a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, writer, and speaker, and for over two decades, I have been helping patients achieve optimal health and wellness through hormonal balance. I am super passionate about women’s health and hormones.
Through my years of working with many patients, I’ve enjoyed journeying to help high-achieving women find the balance and energy they desire, so they can show up for their work, family, friends, community, and most importantly for themselves.
I currently see patients in Oakville, Ontario and also virtually anywhere in Ontario. I am a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) and my passion is to work with women in mid-life and to care for their specific health needs. I am certified in hormone replacement therapy (HRT) also known as menopausal hormone therapy (MHT).
I also use naturopathic tools (nutrition, herbs, lifestyle changes, acupuncture, etc.) to educate and support hormone balance. I love introducing natural alternatives and lifestyle changes to promote overall well-being. My approach to health and wellness involves looking at the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of a person’s health.
I currently sit on the board of the Endocrinology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (EndoANP) as the treasurer and have been a board member for six years. I have advanced my knowledge in supportive hormone care and have received the Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Endocrinology designation (based on the standard for the American Board of Naturopathic Endocrinology, which is the certification branch of the Endocrinology Association of Naturopathic Physicians).
I am a graduate of the four-year program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario. I am registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, and hold an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo in Biology and a minor in Psychology.
My belief in integrative health as a primary philosophy has allowed me to practice in integrative medical clinics alongside medical doctors, compounding pharmacists, acupuncturists, registered massage therapists, and currently I am working in the office of a whole-body dentist at Flow Dental Care in Oakville, Ontario.
I’m also a wife and mom of three, and am looking to find balance and harmony in all areas of my life. When I’m not with patients, you can find me doing yoga, cycling, making healthy protein recipes or travelling and exploring new hiking trails with my family.
I look forward to working with you and together we can walk on this health journey.
